2011 Salary Survey for SAP Professionals – Now The Illustrated Version

Back in 2010, we ran an experimental SAP salary survey that was received with tremendous interest. Now THAT’s a big Surprise! :) In 2011, the number of participants more than doubled to over 800. So, while as an online survey it should be taken with a grain of salt, we believe it is more representative of current realities. We tried to focus on issues that are of interest to the global SAP community versus regional issues.

For example:

  • Are Europeans earning more than Americans? (Hint: No)
  • Is there gender bias among SAP professionals?
  • Is there a correlation between education and pay level?
  • What are the top paying jobs?
  • What is the outlook for 2011?

You can read the detailed report here.

Or view the wonderful infographic created by our designer Randy Krum.

NOTE: you might wonder how come many of the numbers are perfect multiples of $5,000? No, we have not rounded them. These are actually medians, not averages, and most of the respondents filled in numbers divisible by 5,000. Makes sense now?

If you have any questions or suggestions for the next survey, please comment.

By “rooting” your device, a process similar to
jailbreaking an i – Phone, you can install custom ROMs (images), which add stability and speed improvements to Google’s mobile operating system, as well as install new features developed by the hacker community themselves. That said, any network security based on passwords or passphrases is only as strong as the password is difficult to break. As a matter of fact, the kindle source code was also been released by Amazon which makes it extremely easy to jailbreak.

My apple ipad is now destroyed and she has 83 views.
I know this is totally off topic but I had to share it with someone!

  18. Nidhi says:

    Dear Sir,
SAP is coming to recruit at our college. I have seen a few sample papers but can you please elaborate something about the placement process for SAP? What kind of questions are asked? What is the standard package by SAP for freshers in India? Please reply!

    • Arjun says:

      Nidhi,

Its really difficult to say what they are going to ask you.
SAP is an ERP product and if you do not have the functional knowledge then its going to be a challenge to work with SAP. Just make sure you have strong functional knowledge/process knowledge before you attend interviews.(For example if you are looking at SAP SD then you should know the standard Order to cash cycle)
I do not know what is the standard package for freshers in India as I live in Europe.

      Good luck,
      Arjun

  19. Pytha Goras says:

It would be interesting to split into modules. Does A BW/BI expert earns more than a WM, MM, FI, etc… expert?
